Book Review - Blank Slate

Blank Slate
By Heather Justesen

I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to see this book finally in print. I was lucky enough to read an advanced version of the story. I LOVED it then, and still do now.

And just as a side note:  THE COVER ROCKS!!  Yes, I'm one of those "judge a book by its cover" kind of readers. I hate to admit that, but, alas, it's true.

The story begins on a bus where several women are returning from a day of spiritual bliss. Two in particular are quickly becoming friends when a tragic accident kills one and critically injures the other. Adrianna Mueller wakes in the hospital with no memory of who she is or what her life used to be like. The events that follow find her struggling to fit into a life that doesn't feel right to her. Once a concert pianist, she now has no desire to pursue her musical dreams and can't even plunk a simple song on the piano keys when asked to. She feels lost while everyone around her tries to make her into the Adrianna she used to be.

I'd sooo love to tell you more about this book, but I don't want to give too much away. I CAN say that Heather Justesen is a phenomenal author, has several books to her claim and can write a "clean" kissing scene that will curl your toes.

Blank Slate is a must read and because Heather LOVES her fans, she's made it even easier for you to read this wonderful story. Until the end of July you can go to Smashwords and put this code (ZR72N) in and get Blank Slate for only $1.49. What a deal.
