Taking a Break

I finally finished writing Death's Betrayal, the second book in the Blood Bound saga. YAY!! The first book, Blood Bound, is currently being queried to agents, with no luck so far. So, instead of working on Aquatara or Forever In My Heart (which are both about half done), I've decided to take a much needed break and READ.

I've had a stack of books in my office for a year, YES A YEAR, that have been calling out to me. I added to the list when I purchased more at the LDStorymakers Conference in April. PLUS - silly me, went to the library yesterday and checked out a book from there, so I have a ton of reading to do.

Anyway, most of my writing buddies are at a conference in Utah this week (so sad I couldn't go), so I'm sure I won't be missed. I will have my guest blogger this Friday, Cindy Beck, and then I'll be back next week.

Hope you all have a great week. I'll be relaxing with my head buried in a good book.

  1. Congrats on finishing your book! Reading sounds like a super idea. You'll have to let us know which books you like the best. I'm not at the conference either. :( Well, have fun on your reading break!

  3. Enjoy you reading. I am going to have to put some of my books to the side to read later. I have stacks of book distracting me form the things I need to be writing.
