Tagalong Tuesday

Find out who loves me the MOST after you check out all these great blogs. Okay, so I know you all love me equally, but since this person just won my blog contest, I know she's going to have a moment of loving me more. ROFL!

This week I've selected a few more blogger friends for you to visit because I'll be running a fantastic contest next week. It will run from Friday, March 5th until Monday, March15th, so make sure you check back and participate. The prize will be awesome, the contest fun and if you win my contest, you'll be put in a drawing to win Rachelle J. Christensen's contest the following week. It's to launch her new book, Wrong Number, but you can read more about that later.

So here's the pick of the crop.

I am not one of those who lives well in the moment. I’m a worrier. Fear dogs me like a shadow. Oh, I can fake it—most of the time—but it’s there like an invisible net of my own making. (L.T. Elliot @ Paper Parchment - The Small White Sign in My Kitchen)

Well, I thought it would be the ideal opening to Part Two. It would give both the reader and me something to sink our fangs into while starting the long journey. So, i wrote it. It was beautiful. And then the story came to a whip-lashing halt. (Paulette - Pendragon Inman - sssh . . . don't tell yet.)

I am forever grateful for that one conversation with those friends in helping me characterize and establish motivations for Alma the Younger. (Heather B. Moore - 6 Week Book Giveaway)

You may ask, how could a fried Twinkie and moving my office have anything in common? Well, moving my office sounded like a good idea until I rolled up my sleeves and got to work, and then I realized what a royal pain in the neck it turned out to be. (Kathi O. Peterson - It's Like a Fried Twinkie)

(This post could've very well been advice on the importance of using handrails, but I thought that would've been entirely too helpful.) (Kasie West - . . . Picking Friends)

Tower: "Delta 351, you have traffic at 10 o'clock, 6 miles!" Delta 351: "Give us another hint! We have digital watches!"
(C.L Beck - Control Tower to Pilot)

A writer’s life is filled with what can be construed as failures. Sometimes it feels like no matter what we do, nothing will ever be good enough—for our crit buddies, for an agent, for an editor, for ourselves. (Abby Annis - MM - Embracing Failure)

When I sent out my first query letter a few months ago, the balance of my entire universe dangled at the end of my index finger, hovering over the word SEND. I couldn't even imagine how bad it was going to be. (Kristi Stevens - Embracing the Suck)

That's all you get for today. Make sure you click on the links so you can read the whole story. And don't forget to check back for my contest next week.

The winner of my "Do You Love Me?" Contest is (drum roll please) Carolyn Frank. Please email me with your address and let me know if you want a $20 gift card for Sentsy or Amazon.com.

  4. You're seriously too good to me, Christine. *blush*

On a very serious note, I want you to know how much your friendship means to me. So often you send a small email or text or a comment and it literally changes the course of my day. I really don't know what I ever did to deserve it but I cherish you. Thank you.
