INDELIBLES ON FIRE GIVEAWAY BLOG HOP!

Introducing the Indelibles
Welcome to The Indelibles Blog Hop!

Hi, there! For those of you who've never been here before, my name is Christine and I'm the author of BOUND, the first book in THE CRYSTOR Series.

*WAVES*

Kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. There's a lot to look at here and you're welcome to stay as long as you want, browse the tabs above to find out more about me and the projects I'm working on, or scroll down and read some of my latest posts.

But first, take a look at all the fun stuff the INDELIBLES are up to.

* * *
In celebration of our official launch, we are giving away a KINDLE FIRE! If you’d like to start at the beginning of the INDELIBLES ON FIRE GIVEAWAY BLOG HOP, then please start here: http://indeliblewriters.blogspot.com/

If you are already mid-hop, then welcome to your next stop! By following the link at the bottom of this post, you can proceed to the next author (and check out the awesome, individual giveaways we are doing along the way!). If you are entering to win the KINDLE FIRE, don’t forget to make a note of the keyword at the end of every blog post - the words spell out a phrase you will need to enter the contest on the last stop.

Who are we? If you’re a fan of YA fiction, you'll be happy to know that marketing guru Shelli Johannes Wells has teamed up with twenty-four other indie and small press authors (moi included) to bring you the . . .

“We are indie authors who write middle grade and young adult fiction.
We are dedicated to leaving a permanent mark on the world with our stories and words.
We are The Indelibles.”

Each week, we’ll explore fun, fabulous, and fierce topics for today’s teens, drawing on pop culture and themes from the books we write. Check out our official launch Monday, January 9th for fun giveaways at http://indeliblewriters.blogspot.com/

We’ll also be having a “blogger” chat on January 17th and a writer/author chat on the 18th to answer questions about self and indie pubbing.
See our blog for details.

And here's where I'm supposed to tell you a little more about myself and my book. I'll make it brief. If you want to know more, you can click around on the tabs above.

ABOUT ME
I'm a totally cool Army brat that moved more times growing up than I care to count. All those moves made it hard to make friends, but I sure got to see a lot of this great country. I also lived in Germany for three years . . . COOLNESS. I like to think I was preparing myself to be a writer. Talk about some great settings for my books. And the people I met will most definitely make it into my stories. Okay, moving on.

I've been married for 26 years, have two wonderful sons, one dog (because my husband ran over my other one) and one cat. My house sits in the middle of sage brush and lava rock with a beautiful view of the Snake River Canyon near Twin Falls, Idaho.

Let's see. What else?  Oh, I wrote this awesome book. WOOT!!  Check it out!

BOUND (#1 in THE CRYSTOR Series)
by C.K. Bryant

YA Paranormal Romance

When a photo shoot ends in tragedy, Kira discovers her best friend, Lydia, has been keeping a secret. Knowing the truth, and accepting it, will change Kira’s life forever and thrust her into a world of ancient curses, magical objects, and savage enemies. What happens next will challenge everything Kira knows about her world, herself and the shape-shifting warrior she’s falling in love with. No longer the timid mouse her mother accused her of being, but a woman who finds the mental and physical strength to endure and survive.

BOUND is a heroic tale of true friendship, infinite sacrifice and untamed love.

If you want to know more, click on THE CRYSTOR SERIES tab above. You can read the first three chapters on the Wattpad link there or read all the great reviews.  The purchase links are on the sidebar to the right.

  1. Something kinda funny about me: I don't usually read a synopsis of a book before I read it. I also don't really read reviews BEFORE I read a book. I usually skim over them to see what the blogger's overall opinion was of the book and then go back and read the review after I've read the book. Strange, huh? I guess I like to be surprised!

But don't worry...I always have Reeses peanut butter cups with me and friends share, so I'm the kind of staker every writer wants. Cheers!

  7. Something about me.... I have never been a book reader until November 2010...and I'm in my mid 30's. Since then I was opened to a whole new world and read 78 books in 2011...which as a mom of a 5yr old, 3yr old, and 2 yr old... means I didn't sleep much in 2011!! I'm so excited about your new Indelibles website@ I'm already aware of several of the authors...and now I have many new books I'm excited to read!

  8. This idea of the Indelibles--I love it!! Will you be opening your doors to add more authors in the future, or are you set with the numbers you have? I plan on releasing my book in March and would love to team up with a group like yours.

  20. I'm so awestruck by the Indelibles, and so glad to have found you, Christine! Your book is going right into my wishlist (I'm a huge sucker for shapeshifter and magic stories!!)

The only awesome thing about me that I can think of is that I am a self taught quilter, knitter, crocheter, sewer, and baker. Everything I've learned has all been from books. I'm stubborn and won't quit until I've mastered it, lol. Then I pretty much lose interest in it (that's the not so awesome part about me, haha).

Thank you so much for this wonderful giveaway chance!
