My Question:

I've heard there's going to be a new addition to your family soon. Could you tell us a little about that and how he or she will change the dynamics of your quiet and calm world? Have you picked out a name yet? And when can we celebrate the arrival?

 

 

Ali's Answer:

YES! And I can even make this (sort of) work into your letter

We have an awesome dog, named Jack. He is four years old and we love him so much. However, Jack is sick and we’re not sure how much longer we’ll have him. But as long as we do have him, we want to enjoy every minute. Poor Jack needs a buddy. And, my boys need another little friend to love to help ease the transition between life with Jack and life without Jack. 




We have a great friend who’s teacup Yorkshire Terrier gave birth to one beautiful little puppy several weeks ago. That little puppy has been our puppy since before he was born. He’s eleven weeks old as of yesterday! He is beautiful, spunky and I’m positive Jack will love him! We named him after Joseph Smith’s bodyguard, Porter Rockwell ~ Rocky for short! He’s being flown in, with his own personal aid (i.e. our friend’s roommate), all the way from Louisiana on May 12—we can’t wait!


Thanks for having me today, Christine! It was fun to talk about something other than writing! We love our animals, like I know you do, so it was sweet to be able to tell a little about Jack and our new little love, Rocky!
