Are You a Critter???

Today's post is sponsored by the letter
And I'm sure you're all thinking I will do my name on this one, but you're wrong.
The subject of today's post is . . .

My new critique group.

I started out sending a single email to a writer's group I belong to, hoping I'd pick up 3-4 other eager writers who needed an online critique group like I did. (Living out in the sticks sucks sometimes.)
But what I got was over 35 members divided into 10 groups that include,
writers of Young Adult, Middle Grade and Adult
who write Romance & Woman's Fiction to High Fantasy and Paranormal.

Sheesh!

Some days I feel like I've created a monster.
A very lovely monster that I love very much.

So, here's a big
HUG
to all my friendly Critters out there.

Do you belong to a critique group? What do you love the most about them?

  1. I love my critique group; they are my biggest supporters and dearest friends. I count on them to make sure I don't have spinach in my teeth, so to speak.

  4. I don't currently belong to a critique group. I also live out in the sticks and I agree...it does suck sometimes. I should definitely look into online options though.

  7. My group has been great! So far I'm the only one who's missed sending in a chapter, and that was only this previous month. We've been rolling right along. Thanks so much for doing this! :)

  8. Good CPs are invaluable. I have two CPs but not as a group, since my CPs don't have have other CPs as well.

  9. I think what I love most about my crit group is how much they want me to succeed. They aren't just concerned about their own writing journeys; they want and do help me along mine as well.
