A Very Special Day

Today is a very special day in our home, so I thought I'd share a few pictures.

Happy 17th Birthday

Joshua
(and boy do I feel old)

This is my favorite picture.
He'd fallen into the toy box, but instead of me helping him out, I ran for the camera. He was NOT happy with me. Although he does have a cute smirk on his face because I was laughing so hard.

Growing up so fast.

Making chocolate chip cookies.
His favorite.

Just like his dad, he loves his motor cycles.

Golf anyone?

He loves to play outside.

Like father, like son.

Last photo taken with his big brother, Steven, before he passed away in 2003.
He misses him terribly.

Typical Teen.

Growing into a young man . . .
WAY too fast.

My little boy MAN.

Happy Birthday, Peanut.
Love, Mom

  4. Thanks everyone. He doesn't know I put this up yet and will probably be embarrassed, but I don't care. I'm a proud mamma. I'll let him read all your great comments when he gets home from school.

  5. Happy birthday, Josh! (He and I have the same nickname. I'm starting to think 'peanut' is very common.)
