My son came home with a "Knock, Knock" joke today. So I thought I'd share it with you.
Son: Knock Knock
Mom: (rolling eyes) Who's There?
Son: Rita
Mom: Rita who?
Son: Read a book and stop playing this stupid knock knock joke.
I laughed.
Then he continued.
Son: Mom?
Mom: Yes?
Son: Shouldn't that be WRITE a book? You really should be writing now.
Mom: Ahem! (handing him the remote so he can have the TV to play his PS2, which is what he really wanted in the first place) Yes, sweetie, I really should be writing. (slinking back to my office)
KIDS!!
He certainly knows how to get what he wants!
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a smart cookie :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good deal to me - PS2 for him, writing for you. Have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds exactly like what my son would say to me! And, I've finally got HIM watching Dan Wells' videos, plus he actually started writing a novel a couple of days ago. We'll see what happens!
ReplyDeleteClever kid...
ReplyDeleteAnd Kathleen, congrats! That's exciting. :)
