25 Wonderful Years

Hard to believe it's been 25 years since my sweetie and I were hitched. But it's true. We were married in the Boise, Idaho LDS temple on September 4th, 1985.  How did we meet, you might ask? Well, I had a friend who'd set me up on blind dates before and they all turned out to be disasters, so when she told me about this guy that lived across the street from a friend of hers, I said, "NO WAY!"  I was done with her blind dates.

A few days later, my friend showed up at my door and told me about this pizza place in Kimberly and wanted to know if I'd join her for dinner. After much resistance, I finally gave in. We weren't there very long before Ed came out and introduced himself. That was on October 23rd, 1984. We were engaged on June 1st 1985 and married the following September.

In 1989, we purchased the pizza restaurant where we met (and where he was manager) and the rest, as they say, is history.

I'm too lazy to hunt for a wedding photo, but here's one of us on Mother's day of 1996. Steven is on the left and Joshua is in the middle.
