I Have NO Idea

I've been sitting here at my desk for twenty minutes trying to come up with a good blog post, but for some reason I'm totally blank. It might be the massive hours I've already spent in front of the computer today hammering out about 2200 words on my new book. Whatever the reason, I've decided to leave today up to my loyal fans.

What is your favorite quote? It doesn't have to be about writing, but maybe means something to you. Then tell me how it makes you feel when you read it.

Can't wait to see what you come up with. Maybe one of them will inspire me with some new blogging ideas, eh?

  1. "I did not begin when I was born, nor when I was conceived. I have been growing, developing, through incalculable myriads of millenniums. All my previous selves have their voices, echoes, promptings in me." Jack London

I found this quote while I was writing my first book, and I've loved it ever since. It speaks to me about who I am, the person I was before I came to earth, and the great potential I bring with me.

  2. "And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils."

The final lines of my favorite Wordsworth poem. * sigh * I love it! I feel light and free and inspired when I read that poem.

  4. Said Ernest to himself -- I'm psycho. Really, so am I.

It makes me laugh. That's why I like it.
