But I find that while like danyelle I really feel the emotion of a particular character or scene with the energy of a certain song or set of songs, I end up needing it to be quiet to write, or I can't hear what needs to be written. Amethystium creates awesome mood music, as does David Arkenstone, David Lanz, and more. (I'd be happy to send you a full list if you want it.) The only vocal people I can listen to when I'm writing are Enya and Loreena McKennitt, for some reason. They don't distract me. Best of luck on your tuneage search.Karen E. It also plays John Denver, Enya, Enigma, The Killers, and even some Techno. I really don't like listening to the same genre when I write and I find the the right song always comes on when I need it too. Have fun making yours. But when I want to write and not pay attention to anything else, I listen to classical. I have a Pandora station for John Williams where I've added a few songs to it for randomness. I don't write Sci-Fi (and I do end up with a lot of Titanic and Braveheart), but I find the soothing music relaxing enough to help me keep my mind focused but not boring to the point that I'd rather sleep than write.T.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09686063961881406987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7187113478167673948.post-87337417917353786572010-10-12T22:19:30.149-06:002010-10-12T22:19:30.149-06:00I LOVE LOVE that song.
