Today's "Random Things About . . . ME!" is sponsored by the letter
Which, if you haven't figured it out already, stands for Giraffe.
I LOVE GIRAFFES!!!
My office is decorated in a jungle theme
and most of the animals I have on the shelves are giraffes.

(Sorry, not a very good picture)
I even have a hand painted and stamped border
around the room with designs and giraffes.

You really do have to admit that God was in a good mood
the day He invented the giraffe.
the day He invented the giraffe.
AND
He's got to have a great sense of humor.
The female giraffe is a wonderful, nurturing mother.
Isn't this a cut picture?
Sweet, sleeping baby.
I'd have a seriously sore neck come morning.
LOVE THIS!!!
(My dream bedroom)
Dream House!
(Wouldn't this be cool?)
Do I really need to comment on how much I LOVE this?
And, just in case you're wondering if Giraffe's come in different colors . . .
YEP, they do!
YES!
I've seen the commercial!
And I want one!
Well, that's it. Way more information than you wanted to know about my giraffe fetish.
What's your favorite animal?
Would you have it as a pet?

Giraffes are indeed amazing creatures! I'd have a tiny one for a pet, sure :D
ReplyDeleteBut my fave animal is a cat, and I do have those for pets already ;)
I love your pictures! I kind of really like white tiger's. I don't have any of them, but I've always loved the color.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your interview is posted on my blog today...it's all about you :)
I had no idea giraffes come in different colors. That's pretty cool. Loved the pics of the one in the tree and the mother/baby.
ReplyDeleteGiraffes are my favorite jungle animal, and I like birds, for obvious reasons, but puppies always seem to beat out all the other animals.
ReplyDeleteMy son Tom has giraffe phobia. A giraffe licked him at the zoo when he was about 3 years old and took the skin off his hand. Their tongues are like sandpaper. Maybe now that he's 6 foot 3 he'll get over it.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a fan of Cheetahs. (Not to be mistaken with Cheetos.) I'm not sure why. I love how fast they are though. So beautiful when they run. :) Giraffe's are so cool too. We got to feed some when we went to Colorado a few weeks ago! It was so cool! Their tongues are so long!
ReplyDeleteI love these posts! I get to learn more about you! (And I need to get off the computer as I'm beginning to spell phonetically. As in "lurn.")
ReplyDeleteAs a kid my favorite animal was deer, then dolphins. Now, I think my favorite animal is one that is clean, doesn't jump on me OR lick me. No fish. So . . . probably a squirrel that lives outside. Though I love my dog.
We saw some baby chicks and ducks the other day that made me want to take them home--but only if I could spray them with something that would keep them babies.
I wonder if they are related to unicorns? An interesting fetish indeed. I love horses. Have since I was knee high to a whatever!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the giraffe colored hair. Not that I'd ever do that to myself or anything.
